- I
want to thank two very close friends and prayer partners. Jan
Alexander who lives across the street from us patiently listened and
dreamed with me as the idea formulated during our walks. Jan has
prayed for Tammy and me about this and many other things. In fact,
as I was typing this I learned Tammy had called Ms. Jan and requested
prayer about an important decision she has to make. Thanks Ms. Jan
for all you mean not only to Tammy and me, but also to our entire
community! Next I want to thank Beth Duke for her faithful prayers
over the years and for meeting with me after choir practice for shared
prayer requests. She ordered the first of many "Plant 'N Prayers"
© on behalf of the choir to encourage two people going
through a divorce. She has always been there for me when I have an
urgent prayer request that I often e-mail to her. Isn't e-mail
great? I can send a prayer request during the night and she can
have it first thing in the morning.

- I could never
leave out my thanks to Carol and Walt Alberg. Early on we shared
the "Plant 'N Prayers" © idea with them and they have
helped and encouraged us in numerous ways. When I wonder about the
potential for "Plant 'N Prayers" © or need suggestions
for new avenues to get the word out, they are always ready with
encouragement and very creative ideas. Carol and Walt certainly
live their lives "above and beyond the call". Thanks for all you have
done for us!

- A big
thanks to Mr. Athol K. Foster who helped us design our first personal
web page sharing the story of Plant 'N Prayers. © And a
special thanks to Lloyd and Donna Emmons of Marketing Communications
Group for their skills setting up this new site you are visiting.
They worked long and hard to get everything completed and have gone the
Biblical "extra mile."

- Saving the most
important for last, I want to thank my husband, John, for allowing me
the time and space to follow my dreams and ideas. I'm sure there
are occasions when they don't make a lot of sense; yet he is patient and
kind. Being the business person in the family, he has provided needed
insight and direction.
